Help me give my students calming coloring books, fidgets, and colored paper to create items when they're emotional and provide outlets for their creativity.

My Project

My fifth grade students often struggle with their emotions. I'm creating a calming corner in which students can color, use a fidget, or create drawings of how they're feeling.

Bright, educational and motivational bulletin boards will inspire students as they walk through the school hallways each day.

So much has changed in education and I'm so thankful we've moved to an inclusive, accepting, equitable learning environment. I want my students to feel comfortable, calm, and cared for while they're in classes.

I think this is a great opportunity to give our students a little something extra.
