My Project

We are requesting almost 100 books and several bins for a classroom library because we currently don't have one! These books will enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. Our classroom library is a place that my students will enjoy. I will read to them on the carpet, they can complete work there, and they will read independently! All of these books have been chosen with my first-grade students in mind. Students will be able to choose books, which will help them continue to learn to read.

With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to gain reading skills at their own grade level.

They will also be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading.
