Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our school, many of my 6th grade students are working hard to strengthen their reading skills. A well-stocked classroom library is key to sparking their love for reading and helping them grow as confident, independent learners. With your support, we can provide books that match their diverse interests and reading levels, from exciting adventures to thought-provoking stories that expand their world.

The requested books will be used for daily independent reading, book clubs that foster discussion and critical thinking, and guided reading groups tailored to students’ needs.

These books will also be used for literacy stations, where students can practice comprehension strategies and vocabulary skills in engaging ways.

Your generous donation will help us build a library where students can discover the joy of reading and improve their literacy skills. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of these young readers!
