My Students

My students are seventh and eighth graders who are full of energy and a desire to read. My students are so happy to be back in the classroom and are ready to start reading everything and anything they can get their hands on!

My Project

After a year of distance learning, many of my students returned to school this year having never picked up a book to read since they were last in the classroom. My students lacked the resources needed to buy a book, or even to check out a book from the library.

To combat this reading loss, I need your help to build my classroom library up so that it is better than ever.

Students need books that they connect with in order to inspire them to keep reading. It is my goal, that through your contributions, students may discover the joys of reading that they lost during their year of distance learning.
