My Students

Read aloud is much more exciting when my students have a copy of the book in their hands! Read aloud is special time when not only do we learn reading skills, but life skills. It is important to me that our have strong characters, specially female characters who face difficult decisions.

My students are very diverse.

They come from all over the world. My students also have many learning needs. One thing they all have in common is that they love to read. Read aloud is very exciting. Especially, when they have a copy of the book in front of them.

My Project

Read aloud is most effective when students can curl up with the book and follow along. I encourage my student to take the book to engage with story further. By having a copy of these text not only will their reading improve but their love for reading will increase.

Your donation will help make read aloud in my classroom more meaningful.

Not only will my students be able to follow the story but will be able to dive deeper into the text by taking the book home. My students will also benefit from these specific books to help guide our discussions around positive social choices.
