My Project

The Science of Reading has transformed the way we teach students to read. Many of the materials we used in the past do not support the science of reading philosophy, and transforming my class library and reading center materials will help to ensure that I am setting up my students for early reading success.

I am asking for decodable readers to place in my classroom library for independent reading time, and sets of books to be used during small group instruction.

I am also requesting phonics and phonemic awareness kits for my students to allow students to manipulate phonemes and learn how to decode and encode words.

Thank you so much for helping my bright and hard working students to become skilled readers!
