Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are an amazing group of hardworking, witty, and kind-hearted children. They support, respect, and collaborate with one another.

This project will allow my students to have direct access to a color printer.

In math class, students will be able to print charts and tools to assist them with independent or group work. For example, they will be able to print, in color: multiplication charts, place value charts, hundreds charts, etc. In science class, students will be able to enhance their independent and group projects. For example, students will be able to research topics and print visual supports related to their topic. They may print in color vocabulary visual aids or the life cycle of an animal being researched. Access to a color printer is extremely crucial for learners with learning differences. It provides a targeted scaffold for perceptual and executive functioning needs.
