Help me give my students these 10 and 50 microliter minipipets, to learn pipetting skills to bring biotechnology into the classroom. It will provide my students the opportunity to engage in more hands-on and social learning.

My Project

In order to use the electrophoresis machine, sample sizes are in the microliter amounts, which requires the use of these special pipets. Having these will give students the opportunity to learn STEM skills and have hands-on learning of making and running actual gel electrophoresis.

The goal is to complete a classroom set of micro pipet equipment so that all freshmen in our school will have a solid foundation in biotechnology.

My hope is that this will lead to more students becoming interested and entering the STEM field.

My students are absolutely amazing and such a joy to teach!
