My Students

Have you ever created something that you really loved doing? Working with art supplies help students create and for some students it is their chance to shine.

My students are from hard working families, however this leaves very little time to explore art.

I am trying to expose them to some of the great artist. But supplies run short very quickly. There is no money for replenishment. Please help these students reach their full potential.

My Project

I am requesting watercolors, a drying rack, and a paper dispenser, because the students go through the materials quickly, and there is no money to replace them. I teach about 450 students in a week and basic supplies run out very quickly. The watercolors I started with a month ago are virtually depleted.

Children do better in school when they have the chance to be creative.

With so much being put on students test scores, there is very little room for this in most classrooms. I am trying to give the students a chance to have that opportunity. The children love art, they love exploring colors, paints, clay. This also gives the students who may not shine as bright in the classroom a chance to show skills in another area.
