My Students

My fourth grade class has 32 students in it. My students are eager to learn, enjoy school and are motivated to succeed. They love to use their imagination and grow as learners. We are a large school with over 1,000 students. We are a Title I school and all the students in my school all receive free breakfast and lunch. Many of the students in my school are English as a Second Language learners. We have many different languages spoken in my school. My students come to school with big smiles and are ready to learn and achieve great things!

My Project

My students love to get new books for our classroom library. When new books arrive it develops a renewed sense of excitement about reading. The children start to talk about the new books and trade books with each other just like adults do. It is important to form a love of learning and reading. These new books can help do that. We also love to create projects after reading books and the paper and pens we are requesting will help us to do just that.

It is so important to learn about new people, events and ideas. These books all will help to teach my students important lessons about how to treat each other and people all over the world.
