My Project

As a special education teacher, I would love to make sure ALL my students, with or without special needs, can thrive in 3rd grade. This project is to help my 3rd graders who are mostly from immigrant low-income families with social emotional learning tools.

Having a calm corner in the classroom equipped with proper tools is very important for the social emotional development of all students.

This is especially true for students with special needs.

The fidget toys will help them to calm their bodies and refocus. The manipulatives will help them better understand the abstract math concepts. Thank you very much for your generous help.
