Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

In the fall, I will be joining a new team as a first grade teacher! I am so excited to be joining a school as amazing as this one. CWCKC is dedicated to bringing Kansas City children an opportunity for an amazing education through project-based and discovery learning. Right now, the school serves K-3 grade students but is rapidly growing. We are dedicated to growing little brains and helping students reach their full potential.

My Project

Technology in the classroom can extend learning beyond the four walls of the classroom. Having up to date technology in classrooms allow students to grow in all subjects while learning about technology they will need to know how to use throughout their lives. iPads are great tools to have available in schools. There are hundreds of apps that will be readily available for the students to help the little ones grow their brains.

This project will fund three iPads, three cases (to keep them safe), six pairs of headphones, and three headphone splitters so two students can use the iPad at once.

Students will be able to read interactive stories, play math games, create student portfolios, and so much more if this project is funded. Please help us out!
