Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is excited to announce that we have reopened our sports program for the 2022-2023 school year for the first time in 15 years! This school year our students are finally having the opportunity to not only learn different sports but they also will be able to practice and join a real baseball league where they will play against other schools.

This would be the first ever baseball team at our school!

The majority of our student population come from low-income families who don't have the needs to buy equipment or join a league outside of our school. Our students are super excited to finally feel a part of a real team that travels to other schools and play against students from establish teams.

We are a brand new team with a lot of heart. Our students are eager to learn and play the sport but we need your help! Our school does not have the budget to supply our students with the equipment they need to not only participate in the baseball league but to practice and become better everyday!
