My Students

My first grade​ class is a place of challenge, discovery, and filled with many different opportunities for all students. They are creating a foundation for their future through learning and education. My students face the challenges of living in a high-poverty area, yet they come to school eager to learn every day.

The students grow and learn in different ways with different supports.

They bring to the class their wonderfully diverse backgrounds as many are new immigrants to our country and have an eagerness to learn English. All of my first grade students have unique needs and talents that help them grow as lifelong learners.

My Project

We are asking for a heat press machine, heat transfer vinyl, a Cricut, T-Shirts, and flexible seating for our classroom so they can help personalize their items. With all the craziness Covid has brought to our school year, we want to bring some fun, joy, and coziness to our class!

How amazing would it be if we could utilize these materials to personalize flexible seating and make personalized shirts for each student to proudly represent their pride in their class?

These items will allow our students to show their pride in their classroom and school! This year more than ever it's important everything is personalized and not shared so the ability for the students to customize their personalization would mean the world to them.
