Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With this project I will be collaborating with another medical classroom and together we will have our students performing EKGs on realistic mannequins. At the end of this project, the students will be able to explain to us a normal rhythm versus an abnormal rhythm of the heart and they will also be able to determine what care is needed, what specialist is needed and what medications may be needed. If necessary.

This project will be focusing on team bonding, team communication, verbal skills, and the ability to work an EKG machine properly.

At the end of this workshop( project) each student will be given a test and if they pass their test they will become certified in EKG/ECG.
