Hearing Without Cords & Organized Charging

My students need short iPad charger cords to help keep our iPad charging station running and organized. They also need Bluetooth headphones in order to use our iPads and computers efficiently without tripping over cords.

My Students

What makes my students special? They are a motivated group of outstanding 3rd graders who want to learn as much as they can about the world around them. They are curious and have a huge passion for both learning and teaching others.

We have a need for the supplies to take our learning to the next level.

We are blessed to have access to many different types of technology in our school, but are lacking the accessories to implement it successfully in a classroom of 25+ students. We are hoping to be able to complete our project to accelerate our classroom and utilize our technology to it's fullest potential.

My Project

We use technology in our classroom every single day. We use it in many different ways such as looking up words, reading books, learning how to type, practicing our math skills or recording our learning. Our corded headphones have been breaking on a regular basis because the cords keep getting caught on things or students trip over them. Having headphones that are not only Bluetooth capable but have built in microphones will allow us to use them more effectively and efficiently.

Well-loved technology needs the right accessories to go with it.

Currently our iPads often have no battery life as the cords become tangled in our current setup which makes it impossible for the students to plugged them in. Having shorter cords will allow the students to take responsibility to ensure they are plugged in everyday. Along with the headphones, both purchases will help our technology use in the classroom be a very successful one.
