This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a teacher in a low income/high poverty school. Many of my students come from troubled homes. Many of their parents do not have the means to offer them the technology they need to get them ready. I want to be able to offer them experiences and opportunities that they otherwise would not get at home. My students are great and very enthusiastic learners. I want to keep the fire burning for them. With your support, this will be possible. Thank you!

My Project

In the 21st century classroom, being able to hear something clearly is just as important as being able to visually see it. Having a good quality speaker that is loud and reliable will help me engage my students during lessons and educational videos. I currently have speakers that are too weak and frequently distort and turn off when the volume is turned up.

As I mentioned before, engaging students visually and auditorily go hand-in-hand.

Being able to find the method that can reach all students is very important in their success. Having a good speaker is one more step in ensuring that my students have the most opportunities to learn.
