My Project

I teach an incredible group of high school students who are curious, creative, and eager to learn. They thrive in a dynamic classroom where they can engage with history through interactive activities, multimedia resources, and self-paced learning. However, with so many students working at their own pace, distractions can become a challenge. That’s why I’m requesting a class set of headphones—to help my students stay focused, engaged, and immersed in their learning.

Headphones will make a tremendous difference in our classroom by allowing students to access educational videos, podcasts, and digital resources without disruption.

In our self-paced learning environment, students often work independently or in small groups, reviewing lessons at their own speed. Having high-quality headphones will enable them to hear clearly, block out background noise, and engage more deeply with the material. Whether they’re analyzing historical speeches, completing interactive assignments, or watching video lessons, these headphones will give every student the chance to learn in a way that works best for them.

My goal for this project is to provide an equitable learning experience for all my students. Many of them do not have their own headphones or access to high-quality audio equipment at home. By equipping our classroom with a full set of headphones, I can ensure that every student has the tools they need to succeed, regardless of their personal circumstances.

My students are special because they are dedicated and determined. They come from diverse backgrounds, bring unique perspectives to our discussions, and support one another in their learning. With these headphones, I can continue to foster an environment where all students can focus, engage, and explore history in a way that speaks to them. Thank you for helping make this possible!
