Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are all different personalities, different ethnicities and characters. My students range mostly hispanic and of black ethnicity. I teach in the upper west side where we do have much parent support, however, we do still have kids and families of lower income. My school is pretty diverse and we are always looking to be able to help our students' so they can be as successful as they can. Being that my kids are hispanic, black, asian and of different backgrounds, they also all learn in many different ways.

My students are always joyful and eager to learn new concepts in Science.

We do this by using different platforms provided to us. They enjoy to watch videos, documentaries and especially doing hands on activities. They are eager to learning new facts and concepts in science!

My Project

I would like to create this project for distance learning. I am having trouble being able to have good sound when showing students a video to further their learning on Zoom/Google Meets calls. I'm hoping the speaker will help with audio and hearing for scholars. This will allow me to be able to show them more movies and documentaries that will help them in their learning. I am going to be helping with distance learning for a while until COVID times are over so I am hoping to prepare them to be able to have the easiest way.
