This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We do testing and progress monitoring in the classroom monthly. But we do not have enough headphones to cover the whole classroom and some students find it hard to concentrate during these times. My goal for this project is to be able to provide every student in the classroom with a pair of headphones, so they can do their best during the tests. While also providing personal desk privacy shields for concentrating.

We also have times when we need to work on our computers quietly and the students who have headphones tend to do better, staying on task. My classroom is full of awesome smart students, but some of them need that extra help to focus especially on these tests and progress monitoring. I believe having these headphones and privacy shields will help my students concentrate, having their overall scores go up.
