This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in dire need of new headphones and a dry erase flip chart. We are down to two working headphones and unfortunately, many students do not bring personal headphones from home. They use the headphones to work on i-Ready lessons, Zearn math app, listening to books in EPIC, among other things. I will use the flip chart easel to help kids get started on their writing on one side and their math on the flip side.

The headphones project will allow my students to work diligently and uninterrupted on their i-Ready assignments and on-line testing for reading and math, the flip chart easel will support that.

Having these additional headphones will certainly help everyone stay on task and not bicker over who got the spare headphones first. The flip chart will provide solid visuals to aid them in their work.
