My Students

We work in one of the most diverse counties in the United States known as Queens, New York! We work in a school with a wide variety of students who come from different backgrounds including students who have just recently immigrated to New York.

What makes my school and students so special, is that they are all unique with a shared love for technology, reading, and math as well as learning disabilities and ENL learners.

Each student is eager to learn and excited to be welcomed to a wonderful and colorful classroom where learning never ends and mistakes are welcomed! We are NYC public school proud!

My Project

Our students have overcome so many obstacles in the past few years. We were considered the epicenter of COVID in 2020, followed by remote instruction, hybrid instruction, and finally, back to the comfort of our classroom. Through it all, we have learned the wonderful and supportive tools in instruction to use to help our students get engaged and motivated to learn! For this reason, we are asking for headphones. The headphones will be used in class and at home to help with other distractions happening. We have many wonderful programs that read aloud to you and would help support our SWD's and ENL learners!
