What I love most about my students is their thirst for learning. Kindergartners come in as blank slates ready to be filled with knowledge. When they "get" a concept it makes my day!
Seeing the expression of that light bulb turning on is priceless.
When they say everything you needed to know you learned in Kindergarten is true. You learn the very basics of everything and how to get long with each other. We also learn at our school how to be a leader, everyone has leadership capabilities.
My Project
We are in need of a class set of headphones. I have some but they are old and don't work the best. With a class set each student would have their own headset.
They will learn responsibility by taking care of their own headset.
Also it eliminates the need to share not just headphones but pesky germs as well.
We have some awesome programs to use and we need the headphones to be able to work. We also do high stakes testing on the Chromebooks and it is very important that they can hear clearly rather than crackly sound from old, broken headphones.
