My Students

Most children sit on laps of a caregiver and listen to a story before ever entering school. Samsung MP3 players allow students to find a cozy place in the classroom and listen to a story being read aloud in their new learning environment enforcing classroom learning.

Our school is a very Eco-friendly school.

We compost, collect rain water, garden, recycle, reuse and reduce waste. I am the ESL teacher for our grade level, so if a student enters our school with a language spoken at home other than English, I get the privilege of being their teacher. The students in my classroom have many different life experiences which makes our class an exciting learning environment.

My Project

With just two handheld Samsung MP3 players and headphones, students will choose a story from a list to listen and interact with digital eBooks apps. The Samsung MP3 player also uses Android Apps which allows for learning though touch. In the past I've used portable players, but they used an enormous amount of batteries or scratch the Cd's. The Samsung MP3 players have a built in rechargeable battery and I can convert stories I already own with ease for students to then choose a story from a list. These players will provide my students with the opportunity to enjoy listening to a story of their choice while not worrying about the CD being scratched or batteries running out.

My kindergarten students need these 2 Samsung MP3 players with headphones to allow them to listen to stories of their choice while reinforcing reading and listening skills in a cozy spot in the room.
