My Project

Our 5th-grade students thrive in a technology-driven learning environment, utilizing platforms like Reflex Math Facts, IXL, Google Classroom, and curriculum-based videos for math, literacy, and social-emotional learning.

This grant will provide 62 headphones, ensuring every student can work at their own pace in a quiet, distraction-free environment, maximizing the benefits of digital learning tools.

Statement of Need

However, without personal headphones, background noise becomes a distraction, limiting focus and comprehension. This grant will provide 62 headphones, ensuring every student can work at their own pace in a quiet, distraction-free environment, maximizing the benefits of digital learning tools.

Families already provide a significant amount of school supplies, and adding headphones can be a financial burden. Our classroom lacks sufficient headphones, making it difficult for students to engage in digital learning. Personalized audio instruction is crucial for math fluency, reading comprehension, and social-emotional development. Without headphones, background noise prevents students from focusing and progressing at their own pace. Providing each student with their own set will ensure equitable access to essential learning tools.

Goals and Objectives

Improve focus and engagement in digital lessons. Support individualized learning through Reflex Math, IXL, Google Classroom, and educational videos.

Enhance literacy and math skills with targeted audio-supported programs. Foster social-emotional growth with interactive lessons. Reduce classroom distractions and create a productive environment.

Impact and Evaluation

Success will be measured by increased student focus, improved engagement in digital learning, and teacher feedback. Eliminating background distractions will allow students to work independently and progress at their own pace.
