My Project

I can read. I can write. I am a problem solver. I am smart. I am capable. I can do this. You will hear my voice. Each day my students recite daily affirmations. I fill their inner voice with words of inspiration. Words of capability. My class is filled with learners with disabilities. Learners with stories, ideas, and brilliance to share with the world. Traditional writing can be a challenge. Holding a pencil to paper, giving written life to those ideas in their heads can slow them down.

Technology can capture stories and ideas to be shared with the world.

Using the iPad in my classroom will give voice to students with dyslexia, students with autism, students with learning disabilities. I will use the iPad in my classroom to help students record and write their ideas so they can come to print.
