My Project

All students learn things in their own unique way. Some may be visual learners who enjoy analyzing images, others may prefer to read a text. There are also students who are audio visual learners who preferred to learn by viewing and listening, whether that is through videos or having text read to them through text to speech readers. I am asking for a class set of headphones so that my students can learn the material presented to them in the best way they learn. Our schools curriculum gives students a variety of resources to learn the different historical concepts and literary skills they will need and many of the times there are videos to help the students further understand different historical concepts. You can imagine what it's like to have the same video playing in 33 different places in the same room all at the same time and how distracting it can be! With a class set of headphones, all of my students would be able to watch videos at their own pace, focus on the message of the video, and would be able to use the text to speech reader in our curriculum to have text read to them as they read along.

I've bought cheap headphones for my classroom with my own money before, but sadly after two years many do not work anymore and many of my students have no choice but to work without headphones.

My students are highly driven, and strive to always do their best and with these headphones they will have another tool in their arsenal to help them strive for excellence!
