My Project

Mental health is a big part of the curriculum I teach in my health and wellness classes. Wellness includes mental, emotional, social, and physical health. All are equally important. Through this grant, I would love to provide each student with a fitness/mental journal. Through motivational posters and stickers each student can have encouragement and know that they are cared about. I plan to continue creating a safe and healthy place by using essential oils in the classroom. High school students carry many daily stressors. One little object or fidget could change their perspective.

This grant can provide a variety of stress management tools so students can become more resilient.

I care about each student and want to help them take control of their wellness and mental health.
