Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have grades 2, 6, and 7 Resource. All of my students come from a low-income community. They see their friends eating snacks at snack time but are not able to afford them, so they come with absolutely nothing! It breaks my heart when they ask other students to share, and they are told no. By providing snacks for my students, not only will they enjoy their daily snack.... but their hearts won't break. Students need a snack throughout the day to feed their brain in order to learn. This will last them the whole year through.
