Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students often rely on school for all their meals. They may not have access or the financial resources to eat healthy snacks throughout the day or after school even though they may need a little pick-me-up to sustain them throughout the school day.

By providing healthy snacks like granola bars, apple sauce, and veggie sticks for my students, they will not have to worry about hunger or financial burdens throughout the day.

Your donations will help them focus, be more present, and simply be a student in school. It's important that students have adults in the building that they trust and can be open about their struggles. By having access to food, they know there is also access to one more safe space and safe adult in the building.
