Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from low-income homes and often ask for snacks or need a little pick me up for energy throughout the day. They always share my enthusiasm and never complain or show their difficulty in dealing with such hardships and I would love to help them out in the best way possible.

I love being able to aid them and supply them with their needs because our students deserve the best.

A well nourished body aids to a well nourished mind! I truly wish to give these students all means to succeed.

My Project

My students often come in hungry, tired and very thirsty. They cannot focus and complain about not eating or drinking enough water. I feel with these snacks, they will be able to focus on learning and not on lack of food or water, which no student should have to worry about. I have ordered water and different kinds of snacks to supply them with varieties of items (due to certain allergies) such as fruit snacks, variety of crackers and healthier chips, cookies and other delicious snacks to keep their stomachs happy! These varieties of items were chosen preferences to try and meet all their individual needs and wants.
