My Students

My students and I spent this year in distance learning. Even though distance learning has been a struggle for my students in different ways, we have created amazing routines, art projects, and science experiments. At the end of February, many of my students and I will be returning to in-school learning. It will be challenging and wonderful at the same time. I am requesting these supplies to get my classroom ready for our upcoming circumstances.

We are living through history.

My students are incredible people. They come with tenacity, creativity, and a wide variety of experiences and gifts. We work hard every day as scholars, artists, critical thinkers, and friends.

My Project

My students are active learners and eager to come back to school. Students who are hungry are too focused on when they will be eating next, to pay attention to the important things going on in the classroom. By giving my students snack time, they will stay more focused on their studies. Snack time is something that my students look forward to.

In our classroom, we are focused on our whole-body health.

Part of my job as an educator is to teach my students good life habits, such as eating healthy foods and staying active. Our lunch this year is very late and I want my students to be able to fully focus on our classwork. I've included goldfish crackers, applesauce, and rice cakes, all healthy snacks that my students enjoy.
