This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my students’ creativity and determination. They approach every challenge with enthusiasm, whether it's learning new vocabulary or designing their 3D world. To succeed in such hands-on projects, they need energy and focus. Crackers, granola bars, candy, and chips provide the steady fuel necessary to keep them engaged, help them think critically, and stay motivated throughout their tasks. These snacks give them the energy to collaborate and problem-solve without feeling sluggish.

This project brings language learning to life through the hands-on STEM process.

Students not only apply their vocabulary but also get to explore concepts of design, engineering, and technology. They are able to bring their knowledge to life as they create their 3D world, reinforcing their language skills in an interactive and meaningful way. Nutrition plays a key role in supporting these activities. With the right nourishment, students stay focused and persistent, allowing them to work through challenges and feel confident in their achievements.

My students are truly special. Despite the challenges that come with being from a Title I school, they show resilience, curiosity, and a desire to learn. They are eager to explore new ideas, collaborate with peers, and make meaningful connections to the world around them. These resources help them succeed, providing both the physical and mental support they need to excel. Your support empowers them to create, explore, and grow, fostering their confidence and preparing them for the future ahead.
