Healthy Snacks Equal Healthier Bodies & Brains - 2nd Semester!

Help me give my students a restock of healthy plant-based snacks for second semester so that their brains work at optimal levels!

My Project

Many of my students show up to school hungry after breakfast has been served and need a nutritious boost to get their day of learning started right. There are students of many cultures and one of the many special things about this school is that the culture of each student is respected and honored. There are some dietary restrictions with many of our families due to cultural and religious ways of eating.

These plant-based healthy snacks will enable our students to feed their brains, honor their culture, and achieve greater.

Our students are very special in that they take a genuine interest in being good stewards of the earth and we encourage this with our STEAM curriculum and garden-based instruction. Plant-based snacks will further enhance our students' understanding of what they are learning while they also nourish their bodies and brains with healthier options.
