Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

About 65% of our students are on free or reduced lunch so a healthy snack goes a long way. The nuts and dipped banana bites will provide a good source of protein and potassium in the students' diet.

Not only is a healthy body important, but so is a healthy mind.

Many of our students come from single parent homes so the book buddies and rug will allow students a safe and cozy place to read. The plush book buddies can also be taken home, and students can practice reading aloud to the book character plushies.
