Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Often times, my students “skip” breakfast or lunch. This makes getting through their school day very challenging. Having healthy snacks in my office will help students stay focused and engaged.

Making college guide books and educational materials readily accessible gives students the opportunity to browse, think about their future possibilities and feel empowered.

Having an additional location to access this information will help reach more students.

Still true for over 23 years, I enjoy supporting my students as a school counselor and college advisor. I find this work immensely rewarding!
