Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are awesome, unique, totally intelligent, and sometimes mysterious. They are the spotlight of my classroom and have unique disabilities.

Teen students with autism and intellectual disabilities are faced with many challenges when it comes to mental health.

Most of our students, because of their struggles with socialization and communication, go through a difficult time with maintaining a happy and healthy mindset.

Many of my students require headphones and calm spaces to help them with the ability to engage in classroom academics while maintaining their self-confidence. My goal is to maintain effective good mental health, strong communication, and emotional and social support.
