This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Help me give my students a welcoming, safe, and healthy classroom environment when they are ready to return to school.

As a teacher in a low-income, high poverty school district, I know that my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom.

I teach different grade level students filled with a variety of cultures and diversity. We have students who are enthusiastic and eager to get back into the classroom.

Making sure that my students have a safe and healthy environment to come back to this school year is a top priority. The school I teach in is welcoming and warm, and I would like to have my students feel confident that we are taking every precaution to keep them safe. One of the things that I love the most about my students is how diverse our classrooms and our students are. I love that my students come ready to learn and meet their goals and challenges. With the recent pandemic going on I want more than ever to make sure that we keep these kiddos safe and healthy!

My Project

The steam cleaning machine will help me make sure my classroom is clean and sanitized for my students when entering and leaving the room. Having this environmental nonchemical cleaning machine will ensure a sanitized environment. With the use of this steamer, my students will develop an environmental wellness which will inspire them to live a lifestyle that is respectful and encourage them to practice habits that promote a healthy environment. Having these cleaning supplies will help me to make sure that my students can stay safe and healthy and be able to return this school year. These product will help my students be able to focus more on learning knowing they are in a clean and safe environment. We will be able to keep the room clean and free of germs while they interact and learn!
