Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our class came back this year from remote learning, as so many others have. Learning remotely was not an easy task. My students have come to my class at various levels. It is one of my greatest challenges this year. My students are very hard working, and are enthusiastic about being back at school.

My Project

My students start school at 8:00 am and many are waiting at the gate by 7:30. They don't always get a chance to have a healthy breakfast or pack a snack. In the same token they have other basic hygiene needs that I can't always supply them with like personal hand sanitizers, deodorants and chapstick.

Your donation would supply me with these materials that would promote heath and wellness in my students in a basic but much needed way.

When students are in school and their tummies are full and their basic needs are met they are more open to learning and taking risks and challenges.

Help me provide my students with these materials so the can be at their best!
