Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Students in my school come from various walks of life including diverse economic and social backgrounds. Nearly 70% of students within our school are economically disadvantaged. Many students in my class want to learn all that there is, but have the weight of the world on their shoulders.

These students work so hard during the school day and they deserve some time for fun and fresh air!

Please help our school secure safe and exciting recess toys.

My Project

Recess is an exciting and important part of our school day here at CPES. Recess is time for students to relax and soak up some necessary vitamin D along with fresh air! We value the social and emotional skills that children learn when they are free to interact with their peers and their environment.

We would like to provide all our students, in all grades, with brand new recess equipment!

These items will help encourage safe, socially distant, fun play for our students.

We are asking for recess materials, a large cart, as well as disinfectant spray to ensure materials are sanitized before and after each use.
