My Students

Welcome to my 3rd Grade melting pot! My students are from all over the world, speaking more than fifteen languages. Many of my students are learning English as a new language. I teach 40 learners, with 20 students per classroom.

99% of my students come from low income homes, so I strive to make my classroom a safe, nurturing, predictable environment for all of my kids.

In my classroom I strive to teach all of my students the importance of being kind, caring, respectful, independent learners.

My Project

90% of my students are unable to bring in supplies at the beginning of the school year. It is then my responsibility to pay out of pocket for cleaning supplies such as Clorox, hand sanitizer, and tissues! These cleaning supplies and essentials will help my classroom stay healthy all year long.

Please help my students stay healthy during flu season by providing them with these essentials!

The majority of my students do not live in a neighborhood that allows them to play outside during warm weather. I strive to provide them with a fun filled recess outdoors, so a football and soccer ball will give them to chance to be kids and play fun sports during recess.
