Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

What is a better time to learn how to live a healthy and fit lifestyle than when you are young, active, and ready to learn? I hope Pre-K my students can have the opportunity to learn and live a healthy lifestyle!

I work with 18 wonderful and active Pre-K students.

Everyday we go outside for recess to play and they absolutely love it! This is their time to use that natural energy 3 and 4 year olds have. I want to teach them how to channel that energy into activities that will make them healthy and fit and that they will love!

My Project

Our class is lacking basic gross motor items to learn how to play sports and to learn how to exercise. My class does not get gym class at all. It is up to me to give them the experience of group sports and living a healthy life through exercise. Our class needs sports balls, a ball pump, jump ropes, bean bags, a hopscotch carpet (to use indoors during inclement weather), baseball bat and ball, and a bowling set. These materials can help me instill in my students a lifelong love of being active, learning sports, and exercising.

Through your donations, my students can be happy, healthy, and fit!

They will have fun while keeping their little bodies in shape. They will learn how important it is to get out and play, always give your body exercise, and how to stay healthy by being active. Please help my students get the materials they need. Thank you!
