My Project

My second graders have been getting sick a lot this year. We've been battling strep, covid, flu and common cold symptoms.

These supplies will hopefully help to keep us healthier while in school.

The balls will be used for recess because we are in need of new recess equipment and my students need to get their energy out while outside.

I'm hoping that the air purifiers will help get rid of the germs within our classroom and I will use the Clorox wipes to sanitize and wipe down items when necessary.

Many of my students are having difficulty with staying focused and getting along with their peers. I have been trying to utilize lots of brain breaks throughout the day as well as using picture books to reinforce emotions and how to get along with others.

The mini squishmallows and stickers will be given to each student as an incentive. Last but not least, the two advent calendar surprises will be used for students during the holiday season. Students will pick a number and then be able to open that door and keep that surprise toy.
