My Project

Science is my passion ever since I was a young girl and I am lucky enough to have the ability to pass that passion along to our youngest scholars in grades kindergarten to grade two. At the end of last school year I was awarded hydroponic towers. My goal is to grow healthy foods and create a Kids in the Kitchen program which would allow students to be introduced to new and delicious vegetables.

Hydroponics will also deepen their understanding of the plant life cycle, which is a big part of their curriculum.

To start the seedlings out we need a grow light and this would be perfect for our space.

I believe that all students should have the tools necessary to explore, question, and learn especially in science.
