My Project

Help me give my students a mini fridge and cooking tools for the experience of healthy cooking from scratch within the school day to promote the lifetime skill of nutrition and health at a young age.

We will read a recipe, measure the ingredients, then cook in the requested

Crockpot or toaster oven.

We will integrate math, science, reading, and the culinary arts. We will invite community members or other school staff to share a meal with us.

In addition, the children will learn about nutrition. We will learn about how to eat healthy to help our bodies stay strong.
