This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my students sports balls, jump ropes, a health and wellness poster, and nutritious snacks to promote a healthy, active lifestyle.

Physical education is essential for both physical and mental well-being and with these materials: sports balls, jump ropes, a health and wellness poster, and nutritious snacks, my students will have opportunities to move, play, and work together as a team while building strong fitness habits.

The jump ropes and sports balls will make daily activity exciting and engaging, while the poster will serve as a visual reminder of what it means to stay healthy. Nutritious snacks will reinforce the importance of eating well to fuel our bodies.

The goal of this project is to encourage students to develop healthy habits through regular physical activity and proper nutrition.

My students are energetic, curious, and full of life! At just 6 to 7 years old, they are in a critical stage of growth where movement and play are not only fun, but essential to their development. They genuinely enjoy physical exercise, especially during outdoor activities and structured play.

Through this project, I hope to inspire them to stay healthy by encouraging daily movement and providing tools like sports balls, jump ropes, and visual wellness posters that make physical activity exciting and engaging.

I also want to introduce healthy snacks that will teach them the importance of fueling their bodies with nutritious food. These items will help my students learn that taking care of their bodies and minds can be fun—and that healthy habits start early and last a lifetime.

This project will empower students to stay active, make healthy choices, and understand how movement and nutrition support both their learning and overall happiness.
