Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are very energetic and come to school with a smile on their face ready to learn. These healthy snacks will fill their belly and get them through the day until lunch time and after school, since most are active in before and after school tutoring programs.

These healthy snacks will help them concentrate on their academics as we have talked about maintaining a healthy body and mind to be able to thrive as scholars.

This project as well as my "Healthy Bodies and Minds Closet" is a way for me to instill the importance of self care. We value the importance of self-care and importance of having healthy bodies and minds!
