Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The aim of this project is to get water bottles and snacks for all of my students to keep them healthy and hydrated. We want to encourage students to choose healthy drink options like water to keep them hydrated throughout the day. We also want to encourage good eating habits and choosing better snack options!

I have also included some fun incentives and prizes to give to my students to encourage healthy habits!

Most of my student's currently do not bring water bottles so these would allow them to keep water with them throughout the day instead of having to make runs to the water fountain that interrupt learning. Many also bring sugary and unhealthy drinks to have throughout the day.

I would like to supply them with a better option. So many of my students drink these to start their day and by having water bottles in my room I can give them something healthier to start the day. The granola bars would also be great options for some of my kids who come in the morning without eating breakfast.
