This student centered care area will stock our care closet and provide male and female hygiene supplies that students need and use on a daily basis. Although I teach K4, my former students come to me for hygiene items because I am located by the restrooms and I have known many of them since K4. I have been a safe place for students to just come in and grab an item they need without any questions asked.
Please help create and stock this area so students can focus on their learning and not worry about basic supply needs.
My classroom will house a separate area for students to utilize when a need presents itself during the school day. This area will service our students in need (especially 5th-8th grade students). Children that are able to access these items at school are more likely to attend school daily.
My plan is to add and update these supplies based on individual needs throughout the year. These supplies will be a great start to the care area when we return to school this August.
