My Students

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist in an elementary school. I work with 32 wonderful students who demonstrate difficulties with academic and social tasks. Students on my Speech/Language caseload are very hard-working, respectful, and eager to learn and grow. Many students in our school come from low income families, and our school is comprised of a large ELL (English Language Learner) population.

At our school, 96% of our students receive free or reduced priced lunch.

Speech/Language therapy is a time to focus on skills and strategies that support students in executing academic and social tasks within the classroom.

My Project

At our school, 96% of our students receive free or reduced priced lunch.

It is important that students are in school to learn and develop! When children get sick, they miss out on learning and social opportunities.

I have 32 students on my caseload. Within the small Speech/Language room, germs spread easily. Students sit at the same tables, and share the same materials. I'm looking for Lysol products and tissues to help students stay healthy and stop the spread of germs!
